Urban areas with features such as constant change and dynamism and Social and economic situations will evaluate. The evolution and dynamics for locational circumstances are different and developed and shaped under specific processes and mechanisms. The dynamics in urban areas have been studied from different perspectives. Including the view of differential urbanization model in which timing Properties of urbanization in the three phases of urbanization, Polarization reversal and
conterurbanization surveyed. In this research with this model try to survey urban areas in
Tehran metropolitan areas in particular. In the present study, using
descriptive and analytical principles we tried to find Pattern of urbanization, in metropolitan area (Tehran). Based on this research, the movements of population and activities outside of region, commuting of population of around to center has led to formation and growth of settlements. Attention to differential urbanization model, this period is known Counterurbanizaion. This process accepted with growth of small cities, movement of intermediate cities to dependent and change in migration trend.
